The Rising Sun, Bashley is set in the heart of the beautiful New Forest and sits just 2 miles from the busy market town of New Milton. A large site with 170 internal covers and a large 200 cover garden.

We are looking for an experienced supervisor/shift leader to join our team for the spring/summer season. We are a busy site seeing over 300 covers per day during high season due to our stunning location, beautiful garden and fantastic food offering.

We are looking for someone with experience in a team leader/ shift manager position within hospitality who are confident in leading a large  team, driving sales, thinking on their feet and looking after our guests.

There will be times you would be expected to solely run a shift/close the business so a mindful, mature and sales driving attitude is a must.

The position is up to 40 hours per week, with evening and weekend work to be included. We can be flexible on hours and days, equally we are happy to offer set shifts per week.

Hours vary but mostly the working hours will be between 11am and 11pm,  9am starts may occasionally be required but not regularly.

This is a weekly paid position with your share of all tips and discounted food and drink on shift.

The applicant will need to be over 18 with good experiance in the following tasks and duties

• Delegating a team 
• A good understanding of hospitality, specifically food led business's
• A good understanding of cellar managment
• Able to correctly cash up at the end of a shift 
• Mature and responsible to lock up the business and keep the premises secure
• Handle customer queries and complaints competently and professionally
• Good communication skills
• Confident and friendly attitude
