Job Summary

We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Manager – London Market, who is results‑driven a sales leader to drive B2B revenue growth for The Cura Hotel Kensington, London – a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, while also supporting outbound opportunities across the wider Kingfisher Portfolio. In this pivotal role, you’ll proactively source, solicit, and convert business across key market segments, ensuring a strong pipeline and consistent revenue delivery. This role will be a dual report to the General Manager of The Cura Hotel Kensington, and Regional Director of Sales South

You’ll champion strategic account development, maximise every business opportunity through confident up‑selling, and play a key role in driving covers and revenue into Kenny’s Restaurant. While your focus is B2B, you’ll also support B2C initiatives where they align with commercial goals.

Success in this role means hitting personal and team revenue targets, ensuring seamless reactive sales processes, and delivering exceptional service that strengthens guest and client loyalty. You’ll nurture relationships, grow accounts, and actively identify opportunities not only for your hotel but for other properties across the portfolio.

Job Profile

  • Understanding Market Opportunities & Driving Revenue 
  • General Managers leadership team primarily leading on property commercial activity and creating a sales culture as part of the leadership team.
  • Targets Corporate, Group, Sport, Entertainment and Travel Trade accounts, markets or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation. 
  • Leads on Business Travel Sales working with Revenue teams to collaboratively define strategy. 
  • Develops effective Sales Intensity Plan and actions. 
  • Maximizes revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage. 
  • Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them. 
  • Closes the best opportunities based on market conditions and individual property needs. 
  • Ensures marketing brand standards and activations are pulled through on property with the support and guidance of the Kingfisher Marketing Team. 
  • Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g. Groups and Res Offices, Kingfisher National Sales, Marriott ASO and Global Sales) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
  • Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. 

Learning and Applying Professional Expertise

  • Sales Implementations - Driving and supporting the implementation of sales strategies and systems; seeking and taking appropriate actions on feedback; taking responsibility for implementation success.

Candidate profile 

Education and Experience 

  • 3 years + experience in the hospitality sales and marketing field in London Market.

AND / OR 

  • Higher education degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Tourism or related field.
