Description
We are recruiting for a Senior Events Manager at each of the following hotels:

  • London Marriott Hotel Regents Park
  • London Marriott Hotel Kensington
  • London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale
Are you passionate about hospitality, event management and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Events Manager to join either one of our three London Marriott hotels, and lead the planning and delivery of complex events.

In this role, you will oversee events from the initial handover from Sales through to delivery and post-event follow-up. Working closely with customers, Sales and hotel departments, you will ensure every event runs smoothly while identifying opportunities to increase revenue, improve sales conversion and deliver outstanding experiences.

Please note these are three individual positions. This is not a Cluster or Multi-Property role. Each Senior Events Manager will be responsible for the Events management function of their individual hotel.

When applying, please clearly state which of the three hotels you would like to be considered for.

What is in it for you?

In addition to a competitive salary and opportunities to develop your career, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:

Marriott Discount Card – Enjoy discounts on hotel stays and F&B across Marriott's global portfolio.
Free Meals on Duty
Pension Scheme – Participation in The People’s Pension.
Employee Assistance Programme – Free and confidential support for a range of personal and wellbeing challenges.
Career Development – Opportunities for career growth and internal opportunities within Marriott's global network.
Training & Development – Access to training programmes to support your professional development.

What will you be doing?

Manage complex events from the handover from Sales through to event delivery and post-event follow-up.
Coordinate with customers, Sales and hotel departments to ensure all event requirements are clearly communicated and delivered.
Lead pre-event and post-event meetings to review requirements, address challenges and gather feedback.
Manage group bedroom allocations and meeting space to meet customer needs and maximise revenue. Identify opportunities to upsell products and services, improve sales conversion and increase event profitability.
Forecast bedroom, catering and audio-visual revenue, and review customer billing and payments.
Build strong customer relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout the event process.
Conduct site inspections and support the Sales team in securing new business.
Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high standard of service throughout.
Work closely with Event Operations and other hotel departments to ensure a smooth handover and successful event delivery.
Use sales data and performance insights to identify opportunities to improve revenue, conversion and efficiency.
Support the Sales Manager and General Manager in delivering commercial objectives and maintaining brand standards.
