Our inviting venue boasts a rooftop restaurant where the day begins with incredible breakfast, followed by a delightful shift to a a luxurious small-plate sharing concept from midday until late. As Supervisor & Events Executive, play a key role in the seamless delivery of Rockwater’s events, working closely with the Senior Events Manager and Events Coordinator to ensure each event runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations. You will be responsible for the execution and operations of events, including setup, guest experience, team leadership, and coordination on the day.

Outside of event delivery, you will support the wider front-of-house management team across the business, stepping into Supervisor responsibilities where needed. Your role will require a high level of organisation, flexibility, and a guest-first mindset to ensure both daily operations and event experiences uphold Rockwater’s service standards.

Job Responsibilities

Events Execution

  • Act as the on-the-day lead for events across all Rockwater spaces, ensuring seamless service, timing, and guest satisfaction
  • Liaise closely with the Senior Events Manager and Events Coordinator to understand event briefs and expectations
  • Brief and lead the team before and during each event to ensure roles, timelines, and service standards are clear
  • Oversee set-up and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring cleanliness, layout, and readiness 
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and suppliers during events, ensuring needs are met with professionalism
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues swiftly to protect the guest experience and event flow
  • Ensure post-event handovers and feedback are recorded for continuous improvement
Operational Support

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the venue when not executing events
  • Run organised, guest-focused shifts across departments as needed
  • Conduct team briefings, drive morale, and ensure standards are maintained
  • Monitor compliance with all health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing requirements Build rapport with guests and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Support and cover across the business including the Bar & Kitchen, Roof Terrace, Lodge, and Shacks

Requirements

  • At least 1 years experience as a supervisor or team leader in a high volume venue.
  • Experience in working in events
