Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant General Manager to join our team here at ROKA Canary Wharf. Our Assistant General Managers are hardworking, dedicated and strive to deliver the superior level of customer service that we are known for. Our teams have bags of personality and are confident working at a fast pace whilst maintaining ROKA’s high standards.


ROKA is a collection of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurants. First launched in 2004 iCharlotte street, our London collection has grown to include venues in Mayfair, Canary Wharf and Aldwych. ROKA embodies the spirit of coming together and sharing a collective dining experience, (RO) symbolises the atmosphere and (KA), the heat of fire from the Robata. Roka is proud to be part of the Azumi collection.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and inspire the team to deliver exceptional service and standards.
  • Oversee daily operations, including team schedule's, service, and guest relationships
  • Provide trainings, constructive feedback and promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations, maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, and the wider team to create synergy.
