 We are looking for a talented Senior Sushi Chef to join our team here at ROKA Charlotte Street. Our Senior Sushi Chefs are passionate, sushi experts who have a key eye for detail and are masters of their craft. ROKA Senior Sushi Chefs are confident working at a fast pace whilst maintaining ROKA's high standards.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

Manage the sushi team by delegating duties to ensure operational standards and safety are upheld
  • Oversee food preparation, minimizing waste and controlling stock through regular stock takes.
  • Demonstrate versatility across all kitchen sections and ensure the sushi area is ready for each service.
  • Estimate food needs and plan orders for perishables and equipment efficiently.
  • Support team development through training, regular reviews, and onboarding, providing feedback to the Head Sushi Chef.

  • Easily able to switch between work on maki roll/sashimi/nigiri sections
