We are currently recruiting for an experienced Japanese Cuisine Head Chef to join our Iconic Rooftop Japanese Cuisine Restaurant and bar 8 at The Londoner.
Overview:
An amazing opportunity to join 8 at The Londoner as a Head Chef. In this role of Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Japanese restaurant.
You will be supporting the Executive Head Chef on a daily basis to ensure the section is maintained to The Londoner standard.
You will assist the other sections in preparing and cooking food according to business requirements, all in-keeping with The Londoner Tone of Voice.
Coach develop and mentor the junior chefs in the brigade ensuring they reach their potential.
Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and seek opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels.
Implementing and developing food strategies to improve where necessary.
About you:
Current Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience within a Japanese cuisine restaurant is essential for this role.
Capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership, coaching and change management with a strategic approach.
Ability to manage and achieve budgetary goals by analyzing historical data, forecasts and revenues.
Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve the required results.
Proven track record of achieving outstanding levels of personal and departmental targets in order to meet and exceed expectations whilst delivering outstanding attention to detail and precision.
