Shepherd Neame is looking for a Cook to join our kitchen team, so if you are a new or aspiring cook looking for a fresh challenge and to carve out your career in the kitchen; this may be just the job for you. 

The Rose & Crown is looking for someone who can work with the existing management team to grow a new menu and prepare for the  warmer months. You will at times be working in the kitchen alone with the support of the management team. Pay will be starting at £11 PH or more based on experiance.

The Rose & Crown is located in a part of Blackfriars once known as the Paris Garden and is thought to date back to the late 1800s. The pub is just south of the River Thames, a short stroll away from the South Bank, St Paul’s, London Bridge and Blackfriars station. Boasting one of central London’s biggest beer gardens, it is complete with an outdoor bar and a TV screen. Inside the cosy pub, great food, friendly service and traditional style and charm awaits our customers.

We know that excellent chefs are the key ingredient to a successful kitchen, so this role will see you working as part of our friendly and supportive kitchen team to deliver a great dining experience to our customers.

Previous catering experience would be beneficial however if you haven’t got experience please do not worry, so long as that you love food, are confident, motivated and are a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything else that you will need to know.
