Shepherd Neame is on the lookout for a General Manager to join our team at the Royal Albion Hotel in Broadstairs , so if you have previous experience of managing a team within the hospitality industry and you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge; this may be just the job for you.
Boasting outstanding views over the Kent coast, the Royal Albion Hotel has been standing proudly on Broadstairs seafront since 1776 and it is now one of Shepherd Neame's busiest and highest volume food led sites within our managed estate. As a former residence of Charles Dickens, the hotel is steeped in history but provides our customers with a 21st century approach to comfort and relaxation. The site boasts 21 spacious bedrooms, a main restaurant for 50 covers, Ballard’s coffee lounge and private event space that can cater for up to 40 covers. The recently refurbished conservatory and outdoor area provides the business with a further 150 covers with seaviews views, allowing it to capitalise on the alfresco dining summer trade.
There is the option for both live out or live out with this position, but the General Managers private accommodation comes in the form of a 4 bedroom house just minutes away from the Hotel.
As an ambassador for our brand, you will create an
inclusive culture within the business, leading and developing your team to
ensure that they offer excellent customer service at every opportunity. With
the support of your District Manager you will strive to achieve key business objectives
within your individual site whilst delivering continued growth, customer
satisfaction and success.
