Job Summary 
We are a licensed Starbucks (like a franchise) store seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees in a fast-paced Starbucks coffee house environment. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities 

  • Work side by side with GM and other store teammates to provide great Starbucks experience.   

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. 

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. 

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the work area. 

  • Assist in training and developing new staff members to uphold company standards. 

  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to meet demand. 

  • Monitor food production processes to ensure quality and consistency. 

  • Operate POS system for transactions and reporting. 

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. 

Experience 

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a quick service or casual dining restaurant is preferred. 

  • Strong background in customer service, food handling, and food production. 

  • Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. 

  • Experience with training development is a plus, as well as knowledge of bartending or culinary skills. 

  • Proficiency in using POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
