Freedom Enterprises, a proud Scooter’s Coffee franchisee, is looking for a Training Specialist who is passionate about developing people, building strong store cultures, and bringing the Scooter’s experience to life in every location.
This role is based in Omaha and works directly in our stores, supporting teams across multiple markets, including Central Nebraska..
What You’ll Do
Train. Coach. Inspire.
Lead engaging training for baristas, managers, and leaders at all levels
Deliver in-store, classroom, and virtual training sessions
Coach teams on Scooter’s Three Amazings: People, Speed, and Consistency
Support new hires, leadership development, and ongoing training programs
Be in the Stores
Identify training needs and provide hands-on, in-store coaching
Conduct field training at low-performing stores 1–2 times per week
Train teams on store culture, cleanliness, compliance, and food safety
Serve as a subject matter expert on menu offerings and operations
Build & Improve Training Programs
Create, update, and deliver training materials, guides, and presentations
Maintain Scooterversity courses, certifications, and deadlines
Support seasonal launches, rollouts, and new procedures
Track training progress and ensure milestones are met
Partner & Communicate
Collaborate with leaders, Scooter’s corporate partners, and vendors
Share training updates, deadlines, and expectations clearly and consistently
Support Weekly Brew updates, operational reminders, and leadership messaging
Identify trends, opportunities, and solutions that training can improve
Strong knowledge of food safety and café operations
A passion for coaching, developing, and motivating people
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead by example
Comfort working with technology, databases, and training platforms
Comfort in public speaking, including delivering training presentations during team calls
Commitment to living Scooter’s Coffee and Freedom Enterprises core values
Travel & Work Environment
Required travel to Central Nebraska approximately once per month for up to one week
Work in café environments with standing, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and hands-on activity
Balance field work with desk and computer-based responsibilities
