WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR 

We are looking for passionate and dedicated, experienced full-time Bakers to join our team at our newly opening Paris Baguette bakery café in Coral Springs, FL. As a "Founding Team" member, you will play a critical role in establishing our store's reputation for quality from day one. This role includes a mandatory, paid, comprehensive 4-week corporate training program at the Paris Baguette Training Center in Moonachie, NJ, prior to our grand opening. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new store and help build a strong, supportive team from day one. 

Prior experience in bakery, pastry, kitchen, or food service, or culinary education is required. We welcome full-time candidates who are eager to learn, dependable, and excited to grow their skills through structured training. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced bakery environment and take pride in doing things the right way.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Successfully complete a paid, 4-week in-person training program in Moonachie, NJ, to master brand-specific techniques and recipes 
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, donuts, and baked goods in accordance with Paris Baguette recipes, procedures, and quality standards 
  • Execute all stages of production including mixing, shaping, baking, frying, assembling, and finishing products with consistency in taste and appearance 
  • Operate and monitor ovens, fryers, and bakery equipment, adjusting temperatures and bake times as needed to ensure product quality 
  • Ensure all products meet visual presentation standards before being placed on display 
  • Help manage daily production plans to support café operations and assist with catering preparation as needed 
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout all stages of food handling 
  • Properly store ingredients, tools, and equipment to maintain freshness, organization, and safety 
  • Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and communicating low inventory levels to leadership 
  • Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, based on scheduled shifts 
  • Clean and maintain bakery equipment, tools, and workstations before, during, and after use 
  • Work collaboratively and communicate clearly, professionally and respectfully with kitchen leadership and team members to ensure smooth, efficient operations 

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • Must be willing and able to participate in a paid, 4-week in-person training program in Moonachie, NJ, with all essential travel, lodging, and meals provided 
  • Prior experience in bakery, pastry, kitchen, or food service, or culinary education is required (1+ years) 
  • Ability and willingness to learn and follow established recipes, procedures, and visual brand standards 
  • Basic understanding of baking fundamentals (such as dough preparation, proofing, and oven operations) is a plus 
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, including recipes and safety guidelines 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment 
  • Strong time management, organization, and basic problem-solving skills 
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a positive, team-oriented attitude 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and leadership in the primary language(s) of the work location 
  • Willingness to comply with company policies, procedures, dress code, and food safety standards 
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, overnights, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled 
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and portioning ingredients 

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks 
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds as required to perform job responsibilities 
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments (including hot ovens, refrigeration areas, and ambient kitchen conditions) 
  • Ability to safely work around common food allergens 
  • Ability to navigate all aspects of corporate travel, including air travel and local ground transportation, and stay in company-provided lodging for the duration of the 4-week training program in Moonachie, NJ
