We are looking for passionate and dedicated, experienced full-time and part-time Sandwich Team Member to join our team at our newly opening Paris Baguette bakery café in Coral Springs, FL. As a "Founding Team" member, you will play a critical role in establishing our store's reputation for quality from day one. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new store and help build a strong, supportive team from day one.

Prior food handling experience or culinary education is preferred (1+ years). We welcome full-time and part-time candidates who are dependable, team-oriented, and take pride in preparing high-quality food with consistency and attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches, salads, and other café items in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working behind the scenes, moving with urgency in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and contributing to a warm and welcoming bakery café experience through precision, consistency, and teamwork.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, and related café items in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards
  • Prepare dressings, sauces, and other components for sandwiches and pastries with consistency and attention to detail
  • Maintain appropriate par levels and monitor daily production needs to support café operations
  • Record and track production, usage, and waste accurately to support inventory control
  • Assist with placing product and supply orders as needed to maintain proper stock levels
  • Participate in scheduled inventory counts and product assessments as assigned
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store food and supplies in designated containers and storage areas
  • Maintain attractive, organized, and well-stocked sandwich displays for both internal and guest-facing presentation
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and build standards to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of refrigerators, freezers, storage areas, workstations, equipment, utensils, and floors in accordance with food safety standards
  • Communicate low inventory levels or equipment issues to leadership in a timely manner
  • Help unload deliveries as needed
  • Assist with training and supporting new Sandwich Team Members as needed
  • Work collaboratively and support team members in all areas of the café as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related kitchen experience (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe knife handling
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including food safety and operational standards in the primary language(s) of the work location
  • Strong comfort with numbers and basic math skills for accurate portioning, measuring, and inventory tracking
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Clear, respectful, and professional communication skills
  • Coachable and committed to continuous improvement
  • Willingness to follow company policies, procedures, dress code, and brand standards
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications as required by law and company policy
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds as required to perform job responsibilities
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments (including hot ovens, refrigeration areas, and ambient kitchen conditions)
  • Ability to safely work around common food allergens
