We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Edinburgh.
SAIGON MEMOIRE is a new style Vietnamese street food restaurant, which strives to provide speedy and high quality service, drink and food to customers. We located in Edinburgh new town, one of the busiest area in city centre. Our mission is serving great value, healthy Vietnamese food that’s cooked fresh in each kitchen daily. We need a Head Chef who is going to be helpful, friendly, supportive and always willing to help in the different sections of the kitchen.
Salary offer of up to £48600 includes earnings received through service charge.
What are we serving?
SAIGON MEMOIRE mainly serving noodle soup, Vietnamese curry, wok fried noodles and rice. Of course, we have wonderful starters and dessert as well.

We are looking for:
- Responsible chef who is always helping and leading the team.
- Head Chef with minimum 1 year experience.
- Experience managing a team of chefs, in our restaurant, we have salad chefs, wok chefs, lines chefs and sous chefs to support your job.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and managing food allergies.
- Experience controlling stock and par levels through mindful ordering.
- Fast-paced experience
