What you’ll be doing?

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, is naturally organised and enjoys building genuine relationships with our guests. You’ll bring together your passion for exceptional service with a commercial mindset, ensuring every enquiry is handled with care while maximising every opportunity to drive revenue.

As Events & Reservations Manager, you’ll oversee the journey from initial enquiry through to booking and, for events, through to the day itself. You’ll be a natural reader of people, able to understand what a guest is looking for and turn their vision into a memorable experience.

You’ll manage conference, wedding and event enquiries alongside hotel reservations, ensuring our guests receive prompt, knowledgeable and personal service throughout. You’ll also have a strong understanding of our packages, promotions and sales opportunities, using these to maximise revenue and drive rates in line with our competitive set and luxury positioning.

What you’ll need?

  • Previous experience in a similar events, reservations, sales or hospitality role, ideally within a hotel or similar luxury environment
  • A genuine passion for people, with the ability to build natural rapport and develop strong guest relationships
  • A commercial mindset, with the confidence to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries, events and priorities while maintaining great attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive, positive ‘give it a go’ attitude, with the resilience to handle challenges and find solutions
  • Strong IT and administration skills
  • The ability to work at pace and enjoy the buzz of a busy environment
  • A true team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting colleagues
  • Experience of Hart PMS would be beneficial but is not essential
