JOB SUMMARY
As Sales Manager – MICE, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of corporate accounts and third-party agencies, focusing on the UK and key European markets. Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed the hotel’s annual budget and group segment targets. As an integral member of the hotel’s commercial team, you will represent the property at industry events and client functions, consistently upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism in line with the hotel’s brand values.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Account manage an existing portfolio of third-party agencies, and corporate direct ensuring that sales targets are exceeded and our market share is maximised.
· Proactively target and seek out new business opportunities for the Groups and MICE segment with the purpose of generating new and repeat business for Pan Pacific London.
· Perform day to day sales activity including account management, face-to-face meetings, site inspections and attend key trade shows
· Maintain good communication and work closely with Pan Pacific Hotels Group GSO networks and companywide counterparts to ensure all hotel objectives and strategies are effectively deployed.
· Conduct sales trips to all business areas as specified both domestically and internationally as required for business needs
· Develop and implement proactive strategic plans to drive and grow revenue throughout the Group and MICE segment.
