What you'll do

As a Sales Manager for the group segment you'll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests. Your main duties will be:

  • Your main place of work will be at Coworth Park, Ascot, spending 1 or 2 days a week at our London office
  • Proactively sell The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane and Coworth Park to assigned territories/industry segments
  • Introduce new clients, whilst maintaining existing relationships to drive targeted business into the hotels
  • Achieve individual goals from assigned territories/industry segments, and with the proactive sales team meet and exceed annual hotels’ budgets
  • Have a clear understanding of overall hotel goals
  • Awareness and understanding of competitive sets, and ability to effectively sell against them
  • Work together with Area Director of Sales/Director of Sales with relevant projects when assigned

What you'll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ proactive experience in the group segment, ideally within the luxury sector
  • Driven and creative individual with strong communication skills 
  • Team player with ability to work harmoniously within immediate department and across the wider hotels.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong verbal communication skills – English is the primary language used in our hotel
