SALES AND EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR (Christmas Temp) 

Job Title – Sales and Events Co-Ordinator
Hours – 40 hours (potential option of part time also available) 5/7 days per week (includes weekends.)
Hourly rate - £6.50 - £11.50 per hour
Contact Type – Christmas Temp (contracted until the end of December)

We currently have a vacancy in Dalziel Park, Motherwell for the role of Sales and Events Co-Ordinator.

What Your Role will involve:

•  Working with Microsoft including Outlook, SharePoint and Excel amongst other hospitality systems
• Liaising with customers regarding event requirements.
• Recording, collating and answering enquiries.
• Composing clear, well written, professional correspondence with written and emailed communications.
• Developing good working relationships with existing and potential customers including site visits to promote business.
• Development of promotional activity to stimulate trade and ensure competitor advantage.
• Assisting the Sales and Marketing Managers with the organization of internal wedding fayres.
• Sending out brochures to sales leads and customers and follow-up contact with the purpose of creating sales.
• Approaching prospective new customers or clients typically via telephone calls.

 As the ideal Sales and Events coordinator, you must have:

• A Friendly and approachable manner
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be detail orientated and seek to provide excellent customer service
