Overview of Role

The Senior Reservations Supervisor role is responsible for the smooth processing and maintenance of all reservations, including retrospective and prospective bookings. The role will be a main point of contact for all things related to reservations within the hotel; working in tandem with other departments to enhance guest experiences from pre-arrival to departure. Reporting into the Commercial Director, and with the support of the Reservations Supervisor, this role will be pivotal in being a key motivator and supporting to lead and assist the rest of the reservations agents.

The Senior Reservation Supervisor is expected to:

  • Always maintain a consistently professional demeanor.
  • Represent NoMad London positively in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Always adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health & Safety policies, HR guidelines and compliance trainings.
  • Effectively manage workload and responsibilities with efficiency.
  • Foster clear and effective communication within the team, across departments and between both hotels and management.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills to guide and inspire the team.
  • Championing our company values and foster a positive and collaborative approach across all departments. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Reservations Supervisor are summarised below, the list is not exhaustive:

  • Support, monitor and guide the reservations team to support overall morale and efficiency.
  • Ensure that the various tools and resources incl. Opera, STR, Vantage etc. are managed in accordance to company best practice.
  • Oversee and support the daily reservations operations to ensure proper handling of incoming calls, emails and online bookings in line with company standards.
  • Awareness of all promotional offers and communicating any relevant information to the reservations team and wider hotel were appropriate.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships across departments to ensure efficiency in reservations and relaying any important guest information to enhance guest experience.
  • Handle complex or VIP reservations, ensuring special requests are met to guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor room availability, special rates and promotions to ensure optimal room occupancy.
  • Executing and relaying any tasks that have been delegated by the Commerical Director, Director of Sales & Marketing or General Manager appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist and support revenue management of the hotel to optimise room revenue.
  • Ensure upselling techniques are applied to maximise the revenue potential of each reservation.
