OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Sales Executive - Groups, Meetings & Events role is to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Sales Manager in management of all proactive sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations and management of the sale team. Responding to and converting enquiries through the various platforms, emails and calls, this role is pivotal in the Sales and rooms success.

EXPECTATIONS

The Sales Executive - Groups, Meetings & Events is expected to:

  • Always maintain a consistently professional demeanour. 
  • Represent NoMad London positively in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Always adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health & Safety policies, HR guidelines and compliance trainings.
  •  Effectively manage workload and responsibilities with efficiency. 
  • Foster clear and effective communication within the team, across departments and between both hotels and management. 
  • Champion our company values and foster a positive and collaborative approach across all departments.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of the Sales Executive - Groups, Meetings & Events are summarised below, the list is not exhaustive:

  • Respond in a timely manner to internal and external sales emails or requests and help as needed 
  • Analyse and review market changes with their directors and implement programs with the sales team to meet these changes 
  • Assist in coordinating, organising and maintaining all room sales’ activity including: Pipeline o Industry bookings from initial enquiry and / or availability through to actual stay, liaise with the various departments to ensure the stay is well looked after, personalised and expectations exceeded, appropriate amenities and traces placed, and all requirements are met where possible 
  • Ensure all sales collateral, Media Library and presentations are updated and in compliance with brand standard 
  • Ensure up-to-date Triple Seat Sales and Catering profile 
  • Manage commissions chase log and support invoices and billing for the team where needed 
  • Assist and attend weekly event meetings with operations teams 
  • Convert business and upsell additional products at contract stage (e.g. higher room categories; drinks receptions; enhanced F&B offerings etc.).
