As a Demi Chef  at Roka, you’ll help create amazing dining experiences for our guests. You’re passionate about cooking, love working as part of a team, and always aim for excellence. In this role, you’ll support the kitchen team, learn new skills, and keep growing your culinary talent.

ROKA is a collection of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurants. Roka Santorini boasts beautiful views of the Aegean Sea, providing the perfect setting to experience a spectacular Santorini sunset while indulging in Roka's signature robatayaki cuisine. ROKA embodies the spirit of coming together and sharing a collective dining experience, (RO) symbolises the atmosphere and (KA), the heat of fire from the Robata. Roka Santorini is proud to be part of the Azumi collection.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Actively develop your skills to become proficient in all kitchen sections, under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste
  • Conduct daily checks of storage areas and maintain high hygiene standards to meet Roka’s expectations
  • Prepare food products in line with recipes, ensuring precision and high standards while overseeing the work of junior team members
  • Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
