Compensation: hourly plus tips

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests to the venue
• Providing accurate wait times to walk ins and monitoring reservations
• Escort customers to their seats based upon reservations
• Coordinate with staff about available seating options
• Pouring water for customers & taking drink orders
• Provide menus and announce Chef's name
• Set and clear tables in between seatings
• Greet customers upon their departure
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
• Address customers’ queries
• Prepare checks for customers

Requirements:

• Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Maitre'D
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Experience in managing reservations
• Demonstrable customer-service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining area
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
• Love working in a fast paced environment
• Be outgoing and social with customers
• Have a fun, positive and pleasant demeanor
