Scarlet Oak Tavern is a family owned and operated business. Part of the Webber Restaurant Group founded in 2004.

At Scarlet Oak Tavern we love being a part of the local community.

We are a scratch kitchen where all items are prepared daily – during the growing season we highlight items from our farm at Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA.

Our roots are grounded in conservation and we love using local companies whenever possible, we even have a few North Shore distillers who barrel spirits specifically for our restaurants.

The position.

• Exudes a high level of hospitality to our guests and employees.
• Assist with hiring, training and developing new hourly team members.
• Optimizes profits by building sales and assisting with the control of food, labor and beverage costs.
• Provides leadership and direction to all team members - coaches in real time.
• Actively sells private event spaces to optimize profits.
• Develop, implement and execute marketing strategies; cold calling and local store marketing visits.
• Establish long term client relationships.
• Ensures the details of all events meet the clients expectations.
• Communicate event specifics in oral and written form to the operations team.
• On floor management of events during the shift.
• Ensure event sales protocols are followed (minimums, collateral, contract, etc.).
• Proven track record as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager or Service Manager of a full-service restaurant.
