Description
Scarlet Oak Tavern, part of the Webber Restaurant Group, located in Hingham MA is now hiring for FT/PT Lunch Host!
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and organized individual to join our team as a Restaurant Host. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude.
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure that guests are seated promptly and efficiently.
- Answer phones, take reservations, and provide information about menu items and restaurant services.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area.
- Assist servers and other staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
- A professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30lbs.
