We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead The Wheatsheaf, one of Midhurst's best-loved community pubs.

The Wheatsheaf is a busy, wet-led pub with loads of character, a fantastic regular trade, live sport, live music and a genuine community atmosphere. It's the kind of pub where customers know each other by name, and where there's always something going on.

As part of our growing independent pub group, you'll have the freedom to put your own stamp on the business while receiving the support of an experienced operations team. We believe every pub should have its own personality, and we're looking for someone who shares that mindset.

You'll be responsible for leading the team, delivering brilliant customer experiences, driving sales, organising events, maintaining high standards and making sure the pub continues to thrive.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has management experience (Assistant manager and above) in a busy pub.
• Is passionate about hospitality and people.
• Loves live music, live sport and community events.
• Can motivate and develop a great team.
• Understands the numbers as well as the atmosphere.
• Wants to build something rather than simply maintain it.
