We are looking for a General Manager to lead The Fountain Inn, Chichester — a traditional, wet-led city centre pub with a long-standing reputation for live music, great atmosphere, and being one of the city’s most welcoming pubs. Recently under new ownership, we are now looking for the right person to spearhead new opportunities at the pub and take it into its next chapter.

The role will focus on building on an already successful live music calendar, introducing new activities and events throughout the week, re-launching the pub’s kitchen and food offering, and bringing energy, ideas, and leadership to a well-loved city centre pub.

The Fountain Inn is part of an independent, quickly expanding local group of pubs. The successful candidate will be encouraged to put their own stamp on the business, making it their own and playing a key role in its future direction.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have management experience at Assistant Manager level or above within a pub environment

• Have a love for live music and understand the rhythm of a busy, wet-led pub

• Bring energy, ideas, and enthusiasm to grow and develop the business

• Be a strong leader with good organisational and people skills

• Be hands-on and lead from the front
