We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of Scott's Richmond Restaurant, ensuring our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operational. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintenance and Repairs:

   - Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.

   - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.

   - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.

* Preventative Maintenance:

   - Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficient operation of equipment and systems.

   - Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.

* Coordination and Supervision:

   - Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.

   - Supervise and guide on-site maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

* Compliance and Safety:

   - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.

   - Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

   - Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

* Budget Management:

   - Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget.

   - Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality.

 

Qualifications:

- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related role.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building infrastructure.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general maintenance are an asset.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
