Hours: 40 hours a week on
a shift pattern will include a variety of shifts between 5am – 6.30pm including
working alternative weekends & bank holidays. Earliest start time will
be 5am twice a week for pool cleans.

appoint a qualified Pool Plant Operative to join our vibrant team in providing
quality maintenance services to our guest accommodation and on-site facilities.

The ideal candidate
- Previous experience of
maintaining a pool plant of at least one year
- Excellent customer service
and communication skills with the team and guests and understand the
need for confidentiality
- Attention to detail to
ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered
- Maintain the chemical factor
of pool water which includes: chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium
hardness, salt levels and total dissolved solids.
- Maintain physical factor of
pool water which includes: filtration, circulation, water temperature, and
vacuuming of the pool. Maintain quality of water within defined
limits.
- Perform backwashes.
- Maintain biological factor
of pool water which includes: disinfection, shock treatment and algae
control.
- Perform water tests within
defined parameters and maintain all records relating testing.
- Check all valves, strainers,
injectors and gauge lines of air valves.
- Maintain and ensure a supply
of chemicals for water balancing and testing.
- Report malfunctions of plant
equipment to the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure all chemicals are
stored correctly and securely locked away in accordance with COSHH
regulations.
- Ensure all tools and
equipment are in good working order, undertaking appropriate action and
reporting any faults to the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure all Health and Safety
regulations are adhered to and report any issues or defects to the
Maintenance Manager.
- To be flexible in your
approach to work, working in association with the Maintenance Team to
carry our any other reasonable duties required by the Maintenance Manager
and to work additional hours if required.
- Ability to effectively
interact with management, team members across various departments in the
business and guests in a professional manner
- Be a team player as well as
an individual worker
- To be well presented and
represent a high standard of competence at all times
- Must have impeccable time
keeping
- Must have transport
- Experience of maintaining
hot tubs is desirable
- PWTAG desirable (pool plant
qualification)
