Role: Maintenance Operative
Resort: Seaham Hall, County Durham
Resort information: https://www.seaham-hall.co.uk/
Salary: £24,960 per annum plus a share of service charge approx. £2k a year
Hours: 40 hours (Full time), including weekends on rotation & bank holidays.
Relationships: General Manager, Maintenance & Grounds Team 


We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Operative to join our award winning and vibrant team in providing quality maintenance services to our guest accommodation and on-site facilities.

The ideal candidate

  • Being a 'multi-skilled' individual who has previous Maintenance operative experience & a preferred trade (essential) – minimum of x1 year
  • Previous experience of operating various machinery, tools and the ability to complete a variety of hands-on tasks.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered
  • Computer literate and a good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft systems
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, staff and guests in a professional manner
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker
  • To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times
  • Due to location transport is essential
