Job description

Role: Food & Beverage Assistant
Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham
Resort information: https://www.seaham-hall.co.uk/
Salary: Up to £11.44 per hour dependant on age plus a share of service charge, approx. 2k a year for full time hours
Hours: Full & Part Time available, including weekends & bank holidays. 
Relationships: General Manager, Kitchen team, Food & Beverage team

We are looking to expand our current team in The Ozone and are offering full and part time hours.

The ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role required – restaurant/bar/reception
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills 
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered consistently
  • Knowledge of Simphony software is advantageous
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, team members and guests in a professional manner 
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker 
  • Must have transport 
  • To provide attentive service during the meal and watch for special requests.
  • To assist in the general cleaning of your working areas.
  • To take every opportunity to upsell – desserts, starters, drinks etc.
  • To attend work consistently well groomed, in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to be able to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
