Salary: £12.71 per hour (depending on experience & to be discussed at interview) 
Hours: 24 hours a week plus holiday cover (Part-Time), including weekends & bank holidays. 
Relationships: General Manager, Operations Manager, Reception team

Steeped in history and heritage we offer a home away from home experience for all to adore. Seaham Hall boasts twenty-one individually styled suites set in thirty-seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and is home to the five-luxury bubble Serenity Spa. The Serenity Spa offers the very best in immersive facilities and wellness treatments designed to balance and restore the senses. With two onside dining locations, guests can choose from The Dining Room with dishes inspired by the rugged North Sea and Durham countryside or Geko our Japanese inspired restaurant nestled in the vibrant Serenity Spa.

We are seeking to appoint a Porter to join our vibrant team in providing quality customer care for our guests when they arrive at the Hotel.

Due to insurance requirements for valeting parking guest cars, applicants must be over the age of 25.

The ideal candidate

• Being a 'multi-skilled' individual who has previous hospitality experience - minimum x1 year
• Due to car insurance purposes, the successful candidate must be over the age of 25
• Excellent customer service and communication skills 
• Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered 
• Computer literate and a good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft systems
• Ability to effectively interact with management, staff and guests in a professional manner 
• Be a team player as well as an individual worker 
• To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times 
• Must have transport
