Role: Spa Manager 
Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham
Resort information: https://www.seaham-hall.co.uk/
Salary: £35k per annum plus share of service charge (approx. £2k per annum)  and bonus.
Hours: 40 + hours, 8am – 10pm, 5 days out of 7 including weekends/bank holidays & DM shifts as per contract
Relationships: General Manager, Spa Team, Reception Team

Ability to provide vision, inspiration and maximise spa revenue opportunities.  To Lead and create a soulful, successful and world class spa experience maximising opportunities and resources.  Culture is key in delivering optimum spa performance.  You must be strong willed, passionate and provide cutting edge knowledge across all areas of the spa operation creating influence and immense leadership ability. 


Key Competencies

  • Proven experience as a Spa Manager or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong guest liaison skills that provide a world class spa experience and environment.
  • Ability to inspire positive change through best practice and leading innovations.
  • Passion for people demonstrating strong leadership that pushes evolution and continued development.
  • Forward thinker, with ability to make strategic and operational decisions in creating and implementing treatments and wider spa concepts.
  • To support people, planet and profit through charitable partnerships, responsible luxury practices and agile marketing.
  • Understanding of overall business and management of productivity and profitability.
  • Up to date with industry legislation, trends and shifts providing a safe working environment in line with operating standards, guest and team wellbeing.
  • Develop and manage the spa's budget, monitor expenses, and optimise revenue generation through effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Accountable for the overall standard of operations across Serenity Spa ensuring service excellence and exceptional experience.
  • Excellent time management, flexibility and organisational skills.
  • Embody spa and wellness as a professional with a high standard of personal appearance and presentation.
