Job description

Role: Food & Beverage Supervisor
Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham
Resort information: https://www.seaham-hall.co.uk/
Salary: £24,500 per annum to be discussed at interview, experience dependant plus a share of Service charge approx. £2k a year
Hours: 40+ hours (Full-Time), including weekends & bank holidays. 
Relationships: General Manager, Kitchen team, Food & Beverage team

We are seeking to appoint a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our vibrant team in providing quality dining experiences for our guests using 'The Dining Room' Restaurant.

The ideal candidate

  • Being a 'multi-skilled' individual who has previous hospitality experience (bar/restaurant) - minimum x2 years
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered 
  • Computer literate and a good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft systems and Simphony EPOS system
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, staff and guests in a professional manner 
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker 
  • To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times 
  • Must have transport 

 Responsibilities

  • To provide attentive service during the meal and watch for special requests.
  • To assist in the general cleaning of your working areas.
  • To take every opportunity to upsell – desserts, starters, drinks etc.
  • To attend work consistently well groomed, in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to be able to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
