We are looking for a passionate and skilled Aesthetic Therapist to join a MediSpa team as part of a new an exciting project within a 5* Establishment in the North East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aesthetic treatments and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves performing various aesthetic procedures, educating clients about treatments, and creating personalized skincare plans to enhance their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Aesthetic Treatments: Conduct a variety of aesthetic procedures, including facials, chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, and other skin rejuvenation therapies.
• Client Consultations: Assess clients’ skin types and concerns to recommend appropriate treatments and develop personalised skincare regimens.
• Patient Education: Have exceptional knowledge of skin health and help educate clients about treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, and aftercare to ensure informed decision-making.
• Maintain Records: Accurately document all client interactions, treatments performed, and outcomes in electronic health records.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Maintain Equipment and Cleanliness: Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitised, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in treatment areas.
• Stay Updated: Keep current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in aesthetic therapies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Relevant qualification in aesthetics or beauty therapy (minimum NVQ Level 4 required)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in aesthetic treatments, preferably within a medispa or clinical setting.
• Certifications: Additional certifications in specific treatments (e.g., laser therapy, chemical peels) are a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to assess skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
