Our Café Supervisor role

We’re looking for a Café Supervisor to bring energy, leadership, and a genuine love of hospitality to our popular Café.

From guiding a new starter through their first morning rush, and delivering exceptional coffee and service during busy periods, to supporting your manager with team development, this is a role where leadership and community go hand in hand.

You’ll lead from the front, creating a positive, organised, and high-performing café environment where both guests and team members feel looked after.

This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week.

As our Café Supervisor you’ll be

Someone who naturally supports others, leads with confidence, and thrives in a fast-paced café environment.

You’ll also have:

• A hands-on approach to coaching and supporting our team.
• A positive, energetic presence that lifts the café floor.
• A calm and practical mindset when challenges arise.
• Strong organisational skills, from rotas to stock management.
• High standards and attention to detail across service and presentation.
• A genuine desire to be part of a team and community.

And will:

• Assist with all beverage ordering and deliveries.
• Supervise in a relaxed but professional way.
• Handle visitor complaints, requests, and enquiries in a professional manner.
• Deputise in the absence of the manager, ensuring the smooth running of our café.

The skills you’ll be sharing with us

• A minimum of 1 year’s supervisory experience within a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of customer care and complaint handling
• Sound product knowledge of food and drink
• Excellent decision-making skills
• A customer-focused approach
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• A responsible and reliable attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on your own initiative
