Description

Hustle and bustle, soap suds and sponges we’re all about running a tight ship that’s always on time – could you be the kitchen porter that our team needs?

6 REASONS THIS JOB WAS MADE FOR YOU

1. YOU DON’T SETTLE
You’d rather do something right, or not at all. Keeping everyone on track and in order, you raise the bar to deliver the best SeaSpace experience.

2. YOU BRING IT
You have something that can’t be taught, a magnetic energy you bring to the job and everyone feels it. You set the vibes that bring the spark, making your team tick, your guests buzz, and an atmosphere people want to be a part of.

3. YOU’RE A PEOPLE PERSON
Your hands do the work, but your personable nature means that days feel brighter for everyone. You’re always willing to help out with a positive outlook, even when the pressure mounts, you’ve got a cool head and a steady hand.

4. YOU’VE GOT STANDARDS
And they’re pretty high. Squeaky clean work surfaces, crockery and cutlery ready to go and a smooth day-to-day. Tasks done well by teams that sync, it’s how we roll, and what our guests will love too.

5. YOU GET THINGS DONE
You’re hands-on, with experience and skills by the bucketload. You’re a washing  whizz, on the ball and you know how to run a tight ship — the vital cog in the wheel.

6. YOU WANT TO BE PART OF A COMMUNITY
Not just a job, but a chance to be part of a community — individuals who have each other's back. Eager to step up, keen to make every interaction the best it can be, SeaSpace’s shared spirit is made by its people. Are you one of them?

You’ll get a competitive salary, discounts and perks, and of course, work in an ocean-side spot with one jaw-dropping view. This role is for day shifts only.

 A BRIGHTER PERSPECTIVE, MAINTAINED.

What you’ll do on the daily…

  • Ensure that at all times the cleaning, as required by the Head Chef, of all kitchen equipment, utensils, floor and working surfaces in the kitchen and adjacent areas, is carried out satisfactorily.
  • Carry out other duties as required to the Head Chef and Management.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and personal hygiene to the standard required by the hotel and by law.
  • Ensure full refuse bags are removed and replaced promptly, and that full swing bins are removed and replaced immediately, clearing any spillages.
  • Sweep and clean the corridors and passageways through the kitchen.
  • Wash crockery, cutlery and ensure that work surfaces are clean and tidy.
  • Clean all pots in the pot wash area, and to maintain cleanliness of the area.
  • Smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen and back of house areas.

What you’ll bring to the table…

  • Flexible attitude to working hours and variable shift patterns
  • Interest and passion for the food industry
  • Worked in a similar role
  • Calm under extreme pressure
  • Responsible
