At SeaSpace, flexibility, style, and freedom are underpinned by a spirit and community that lives for the beach and everything it can be. With a neighbourhood energy at its heart, we are inviting everyone in to make coastal living their own for an hour, a day, a week, or more.

At SeaSpace, making people happy through food is what we’re all about.

From prep to plating, you’ll take ownership of your section, ensuring everything runs smoothly and consistently to the highest standards. You’ll also know your way around a professional kitchen and take pride in delivering quality dishes with precision and care.

This is not just a job. It’s a chance to be part of a community.

At SeaSpace, we’re a group of individuals who have each other’s backs. We're eager to step up, keen to make every shift the best it can be and recognise that SeaSpace’s shared spirit is made by its people.

As our Chef de Partie you’ll be:

  • Taking responsibility for your section, ensuring smooth service from prep to plating.
  • Carrying out food prep, cooking, and portioning of all dishes to a high standard.
  • Supporting stock takes and ensuring your section is well stocked and organised.
  • Maintaining exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
  • Acting as a key support to the Head Chef, helping oversee kitchen operations.
  • Following kitchen schedules and staying on top of all admin, including check sheets and temperature logs.
  • Supporting and guiding junior team members as needed.

The skills you’ll be sharing with us:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
  • Current Food Hygiene certificate
  • A flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns
  • A genuine passion for food and the wider industry
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own section
  • Confidence in a range of cooking techniques and food presentation
  • A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong team ethic
  • The ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Care for your team, your environment, and the overall guest experience

What makes this role made for you:

  • You’re a natural in the kitchen, confident running your own section
  • You’re a true foodie, driven by flavour, creativity, and detail
  • You believe teamwork makes every service stronger
  • You’re organised, proactive, and always one step ahead
  • You take pride in cleanliness, consistency, and high standards
  • You want to be part of something bigger — a supportive, spirited community

What we can offer in return:

  • A relaxed, professional place to work in a beautiful location
  • A welcoming team, eager to support and encourage each other
  • Excellent career prospects in an ever-expanding organisation
  • Special rates for you and your friends and family to stay at SeaSpace, Watergate Bay Hotel and our Another Place Hotels
