ABOUT THE ROLE
The Safety & Security Manager ensures the safety of guests, staff, and hotel property through key responsibilities such as monitoring guest safety, patrolling the premises, and managing access to restricted areas. They manage operation of CCTV surveillance, respond swiftly to emergencies, assist with lost property, and support crowd control during events as well as book adequate coverage. Trained in first aid, fire safety, and conflict resolution. Coordinates with local authorities when necessary to maintain a secure environment for staff and guests. Carries out management training in health and safety, security, food safety and emergency procedures where necessary. Is familiar and ideally certified in Risk Assessments and keeps up with industry standards.
