Marketing Director Job Description Reporting Structure: Reports to Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Direct Report: Marketing + Programming Coordinator
Role Overview:
The Marketing Director is the senior on-property marketing leader for Seia and Seia Club. This
role translates OKO’s and The Bastion Collection’s brand vision into property-specific strategy,
overseeing all communications, digital initiatives, partnerships, and member engagement. The
Director ensures every touchpoint reflects the Seia brand, while driving results across dining,
restaurant and event programming.
Cross-Functional Leadership
● Act as the primary liaison between The Bastion Collection’s corporate marketing
Department and on-property operations, culinary, and membership teams.
● Collaborate with leadership to activate key brand moments, including seasonal
promotions, holidays, and high-profile partnerships.
● Work with building management and external partners to ensure seamless integration of
Seia + the Cafe into the broader community.
Brand Strategy & Content Oversight
● Set the overarching content and social strategy for restaurant and club, including key
campaigns, chef storytelling, and cultural programming.
● Approve monthly content calendars, ensuring alignment with brand voice and objectives.
● Define KPIs for digital engagement, monitor analytics, and refine strategy based on
insights.
Email Marketing & CRM
● Own the strategy for all email communications, including newsletters, event invitations,
promotional campaigns, and alignment with restaurant and membership objectives.
● Oversee CRM (SevenRooms) strategy, segmentation, and reporting
● Evaluate campaign performance and optimize future efforts.
Digital Marketing
● Formulate paid digital marketing strategy, including campaign objectives, targeting, and
budget allocation.
● Oversee SEO strategy and ensure best practices across platforms.
● Ensure the website reflects brand standards; approve major updates and content direction.
Partnerships, Programming & Events
● Ideation and strategy for brand partnerships, seasonal activations, and programming
events.
● Ensure programming reinforces Seia’s positioning at the intersection of culinary, culture,
and community.
● Approve all external-facing assets tied to partnerships and activations.
PR & Media
● Support in shaping press strategy in collaboration with agency partners.
● Approve press materials, manage media relationships, and oversee press visits.
Creative & Collateral Oversight
● Approve and direct all collateral (menus, event signage, invitations, partnership assets).
● Ensure creative consistency across print, digital, and on-site brand touchpoints.
● Oversee coordination of photo/video shoots.
Membership Communications
● Oversee tone, strategy, and approval of all member communications (email, digital,
in-app).
● Partner with Bastion, Membership and F&B teams to formulate membership
programming strategy.
● Approve communications calendar and ensure alignment with overall Seia strategy.
