What your days could look like:

  • Delivering team, guest and commercial goals
  • Creating an environment that delivers outstanding guest experience in line with brand standards
  • Driving efficiency and performance
  • Working with the Group HR and Hotels Director to implement a people plan for the hotel which connects to the wider business’ people strategy. Specific elements include: culture and engagement, training and development, recruitment and performance management
  • Be the on-site guardian of the brand to ensure our service delivery and product is consistently delivered to brand standards across all departments
  • Using feedback and insight to drive innovation and enhancements
  • Delivering management reporting to track performance against key measures including costs, revenues, guest satisfaction and health, safety and hygiene
  • Work with the Group IT and Marketing teams to implement all technology projects and enhancements
  • Lead new initiatives locally to drive the adoption of all systems. 
  • Seek and recommend ways to drive efficiency and improvements using technology
  • Work with Group Exec team to enhance the guest’s experience
  • Provide local management where necessary to ensure on-budget and on-programme delivery of projects

Job skills and requirements:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in and passion for all elements of hospitality delivery including: food & beverage and hotel operations within a lifestyle brand environment
  • A proven track record of problem solving and prioritising guest experience
  • A good understanding of technology
  • Experience optimising technology platforms to drive efficiency
  • Standards-driven with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills
  • Numerate
  • Calm under pressure
  • Organised
  • Proactive
