Sexy Fish, in the heart of Mayfair, is an avant-garde dining destination known for its opulent décor, innovative cuisine, and electric atmosphere. Inspired by Japan, the menu features sushi, sashimi, tempura, and robata, while the bar boasts the world’s largest Japanese whisky collection. Our exceptional wine programme offers over 500 wines, from fine and rare labels to an extensive Champagne selection, exciting finds from lesser-known regions, and a curated sake list. We are currently seeking a poised and customer-focused Host to join our dynamic team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience at our restaurant. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and are committed to delivering top-notch service, we invite you to be a welcoming presence at our beautiful restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient table assignments.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing information and assistance.
- Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and organized.
- Uphold the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or host or Maitre D’ in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Experience with either Open Table or Seven Rooms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive and friendly demeanour.
