Purpose of the Role
Sexy Fish was launched in London
in October 2015. Designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and decorated with
artwork from Frank Gehry, Damien Hirst and Michael Roberts, the look and
feel is glamorous and opulent. The food takes its inspiration from the seas of
Asia, with a focus on Japan. The bar holds the world’s largest Japanese whisky
collection at 400 bottles, as well as offering a hard-to-resist cocktail list.
The wine list is balanced and thought-provoking – collating vintages and
cépages from all over the world. DJ’s entertain diners and drinkers until the
early hours creating an exclusive late-night experience. The role will work with
the team at Sexy Fish Miami, located in Brickell to grow market share and
deliver the revenue targets for the brand’s first international outpost.
The role is to strategically manage, oversee and develop the restaurant communications through various social media platforms. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing a clear social media strategy assisting with content creation and tactics, driving the number of followers, growing engagement across our channels, analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and deliver always on social media activity across all channels
• Oversee the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content, whilst ensuring the brand stays true to its brand pillars, brand personality and tone of voice
• Liaise with creative resource on social-specific content e.g. video and animations
• Develop an innovative and progressive social media strategy including a roadmap for delivery and clarity on how it will be delivered consistently
• Build audience and engagement on social channels via organic content
• Create a regular publishing schedule
• Oversee community management and guest responses
• Use social media stats to analyze & report on social media successes, growth, development, and performance
• To submit a weekly report on performance with key recommendations
• To engage the company and its employees into social media communications, including overseeing in-restaurant staff training on social media
• Show innovation in the creation of content, on occasion having the ability to capture a moment as required
• Work with aligned with the communications/PR support to align messaging and influencer programs
• Identify UGC that can be used to enhance the channels and engage the audience
Experience requirements
• We are looking for a hands-on, organised and creative individual who must have at least five year’s experience within a social media role.
• Well presented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of using social media platforms, photoshop and editing software
• Experience working within the luxury sector
• Proven track record of delivering innovative social content and narrative
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• Passionate about creativity and design
• Strong knowledge of the key influencers within the Miami market and key influential figures
• Videography/Photography training desirable but not essential
• Experience of creative writing and caption generation
