We are bringing the lauded Sexy Fish to Miami. Slated for a Fall 2021 launch, Sexy Fish will open in Brickell, Miami’s hottest neighborhood and we want you to come on board. Serving a diverse, inspired menu in the hedonistic surrounds of the glittering restaurant this is the only place you will want to be. Designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the look and feel of Sexy Fish Miami will be glamorous and opulent.
The food, curated by Chef Director Bjoern Weissgerber exquisite and unexpected. The destination bar will boast the US’s largest Dom Perignon selection, alongside Opus One wines and a hard-to resist drinks list. From lunch through to late night you will want to be part the team in this vibrant, high energy atmosphere serving exceptional food and drink.
We are looking for an experienced full-time Cellar Master to join the Sommelier team of our fantastic restaurant, Sexy Fish
As Cellar Master you will report to the Head Sommelier with the key responsibilities being to accept the wine deliveries ensuring accuracy and effective distribution and storage. You will be responsible for the processing of wine orders ensuring agreement with the Head Sommelier and the accurate and timely processing of invoices and delivery notes. You will also ensure that the storage and cellar areas are kept tidy, stock is effectively rotated and company policies and procedures are followed.
The Ideal candidate will:
• Currently be a Cellar Master, Junior Sommelier or Sommelier in a busy high
volume restaurant, club or hotel environment
• Have a keen interest in wines and the wish to develop their knowledge and
progress
• A WSET or Court of Master Sommelier qualification is desirable
• Have previous ordering experience and strong PC skills – experience of FnB
shop / Aloha would be desirable but not essential
• Have a good numeracy skills and be organised and methodical at work
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is
essential
• Be an excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• A strong command of the English language is essential
