The Role
We're looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team and support the General Manager in the running of the business. You will be fully responsible for cashing up, training, and helping develop the identity of the venue. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue and directly supervise all Duty Managers and team members, guiding them in operating their departments / responsibilities when on shift.
Essential skills and attributes for the job
- You must have a genuine love for live music and bar service.
- Take a proactive hands-on approach to driving your business forward.

The Shacklewell Arms has played a vital role in London's grassroots music scene for the past 20 years, hosting formative shows from the likes of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Fontaines D.C shame and The Horrors plus underplays from internationally recognised artists. Solange, Four Tet, NAO and Jamie XX have all graced the Dancehall. Alongside live music, the Dalston pub venue is the place for eclectic weekend club nights and drinks in the mural-covered garden area.
