Bike Delivery Driver

CAVA is a fast-growing culinary brand with a portfolio of fast casual restaurants and a packaged goods line dedicated to fresh, Mediterranean inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from a full service restaurant collaboration between three first-generation Greek American childhood friends in the Washington, D.C. area, our chef-driven fast casual format has currently more than 45 restaurants with further expansion ahead.

We are looking for friendly bike delivery drivers, who have exceptional customer service skills, to join our pioneering delivery service. This is a temporary 3 month position, with the opportunity to shape the future of delivery at CAVA. Successful bike delivery drivers at CAVA may have the opportunity to work permanently as a Team Member, either continuing work as a bike delivery drivers, or working within our restaurant. We will pilot delivery service from our Shaw location, to the surrounding Washington D.C. area.

Bike delivery drivers are responsible for creating exceptional experiences for each guest, every time they deliver a meal. From interacting with guests with genuine passion, to teaching customers about our menu, bike couriers will deliver top quality food from our open kitchens – they do it all!

You will:

• Bike 15-30 miles per day, using a CAVA supplied backpack to hold the orders
• Work shifts in the following time period: 10:45 AM - 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Assist restaurant Team Members in various tasks such as, but not limited to: food preparation, restaurant cleaning, and order processing
• Enthusiastically educate guests about our menu and assemble orders as needed
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Be at least 18 years old
• Deliver a delicious, unique, and memorable experience to each of our guests

You have:

• A reliable bicycle in a safe, working condition with the ability to carry a large load
• A smartphone with GPS capability, internet access to use our delivery platform, the ability to send/receive texts/calls/emails, and the ability to read maps
• A winning attitude; always looking for a way to just say yes!

We offer:

• $15/hr + 100% of tips
• Paid Sick Leave, 1 Community Day, Telemedicine, 401(k), and Free CAVA food

• The opportunity to be on the ground floor and help pilot a new program within CAVA

Job offers made to candidates, will be contingent on the successful completion of a background check. Should you continue your employment with CAVA after the initial delivery pilot program, your hourly rate will move to $13 per hour.
