Shukette, the newest concept from The Bowery Group Restaurants (Cookshop, Vic’s, Shuka and Rosie’s) is hiring immediately, seeking a dynamic General Manager with opening experience skilled in mentorship and building strong service cultures.

Our restaurants are committed to excellence in hospitality and to sourcing seasonal ingredients from local farms.  We are excited to be opening this spring in advance of the improved weather and renewed energy of a city hungry for fresh and fun offerings.

We are looking for bright, energetic, and service-driven managers with an aptitude for providing effortless service. Strong candidates will have a positive attitude and a commitment to creating the best experiences for our guests through food, beverage and the personal touches that elevate the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years progressive Management experience in high-volume and chef driven restaurants 

  • Experience hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse pool of hourly staff

  • Aptitude for learning, coaching and driving excellence at all levels

  • Open, flexible availability


Expectations

  • Manage all day-to-day shift operations with the guest as the focus 

  • Work in tandem with the BOH 

  • Train, lead and develop staff to achieve excellence
