The Bowery Group Restaurants is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join the Shukette team!

Located on a lively corner in Chelsea, Shukette serves up Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja's thoughtful approach to the bold, complex flavors of the Middle East.

Our restaurants are committed to excellence in hospitality and sourcing seasonal ingredients from local farms.

We are looking for bright, energetic, and service-driven people with an aptitude for providing effortless service. Strong candidates will have a positive attitude and a commitment to creating the best experiences for our guests through food, beverage and the personal touches that elevate the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years progressive Management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Experience hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse pool of hourly staff
  • Aptitude for learning, coaching and driving excellence at all levels
  • Open, flexible availability

Expectations

  • Create and deliver experiences to our guests and our employees
  • Manage all day-to-day shift operations with people as the focus
  • Work in tandem with the BOH
  • Train, lead and develop people to achieve excellence
