It serves customisable bubble tea drinks using premium whole-leaf teas and a wide variety of toppings and flavours. The company relocated its headquarters to London in 2019 to lead international growth from the UK. In the UK market Gong Cha currently operates a small number of stores, and under a major franchise agreement with a new operator, plans to roll out 225+ outlets across the country, creating around 2,000 jobs as part of its ambitious expansion plan.
