We’re looking for a creative, and savvy PR and Communications Manager to join our Central Marketing team at Signet Collection. 

The Signet Collection is a family of charming, design-led boutique hotels in remarkable locations — where story, soul and style come together. From riverside beauty at The Mitre in Hampton Court, to countryside calm at The Retreat at Elcot Park and the newest addition, The Alfriston in the South Downs, we’re building a collection of stays with character.
 

Role Overview: 

Our PR and Communications Manager is responsible for our external image at The Signet Collection, crafting our messaging and managing our media relationships. This role ensures that our core values as a lifestyle hospitality brand are recognised, understood and utilised. From crafting compelling stories and activations, to communicating our employee value proposition, to managing press to drive our vision. This is accomplished through strong strategic plans, stakeholder engagement and key brand partnerships.

This is a full time Monday to Friday role, based at The Retreat, Elcot Park in West Berkshire, with regular travel to our sister hotels across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Brand Partnerships: 
  • Develop annual and quarterly objectives with measurable KPIs that reflect both the Signet brand and each property's unique identity. Plan ahead across multiple quarters, working within budgets and leveraging brand relationships to drive international reach, audience engagement, and revenue.
  • Partner with like-minded brands and promotors to create impactful promotions, launch events, and ongoing content. Collaborate with the Marketing Director on future opportunities and deliver a detailed communications strategy that effectively conveys activations to the target audience.  
Public Relations:
  • Own and execute the overall communications approach, managing press enquiries, promotional opportunities, and guest list coordination. 
  • Develop media toolkits, brand statements, and crisis communications that reflect Signet’s core values, while monitoring sentiment and advising accordingly.  
  • Maintain strong ties with journalists, influencers, and ambassadors to drive coverage and event attendance.  

People Brand & Culture

  • Partner closely with HR and L&D teams to enhance our organisational culture, supporting us on our journey to becoming an Employer of Choice.
  • Deliver against service standards, engaging with continuous improvement opportunities and any associated microlearning via our LMS for your development. 
  • Uplift engagement between our teams with a regular drumbeat of content for internal audiences and channels (Teams, Newsletters Intranet).
Brand Partnerships:
  • Lead annual partnerships strategy for cash and/or product collaboration for summer terraces, winter promotions and festive seasons
  • Create impactful promotions, launch events, photoshoots ensuring there is a an 'always on' content strategy and continued presence during hotel stays. 
Data Analytics: 
  • Proactively lead weekly and monthly reporting across defined KPIs in close partnership with our Marketing Director, with a focus on external channels.
