Description
Executive Assistant at The Signet Collection- supporting our Managing Partner and his family/business interests, across The Signet Collection and Ross & Ross

Do you colour-code your calendar... for fun?

Can you spot a typo from across the room? Do you secretly enjoy turning chaos into calm?

If so, keep reading.

At The Signet Collection, we don't do ordinary hotels. We create beautiful places full of character, personality and unforgettable experiences. Behind every one of those experiences is an incredibly talented team—and now we're looking for someone equally special to become the right hand (and occasionally the left hand, diary, therapist, organiser and miracle worker), whilst also supporting Ross & Ross in their mission to  manage the construction of new traditional country houses and restoration of heritage properties.

This isn't just another Executive Assistant role.

Reporting to the Managing Partner and the other half and founder of Ross & Ross, you'll be the calm in the storm, the keeper of the calendar, the guardian of confidentiality and the person who somehow knows what's happening before everyone else does.

Where is this role?

We currently have 4 properties (with more coming!) and a central office near Newbury (Newbury RG20 8NJ).
This role is based out of our central office, 5 days a week, so the role would suit someone local to the Newbury area. There may be occasional travel required where support is needed, but you will be one of  the mainstays of our support office.

And yes, there is free parking available on site at the office!

A typical week might include...

  • Untangling a diary that resembles a game of Tetris
  • Organising travel plans before anyone has even realised they need them.
  • Preparing board papers, presentations and reports that make everyone look brilliant.
  • Keeping on top of emails, priorities and deadlines with ninja-like efficiency.
  • Helping organise company events that people actually look forward to attending.
  • Building fantastic relationships with colleagues, suppliers and guests alike.
  • Occasionally reminding your Managing Partner to eat lunch!

You'll become the trusted person people turn to because they know if anyone can sort it... you can.

Who are we looking for?

  • You'll be tech savvy, with a love for administration and process...and of course people!
  • You have bags of experience in an admin role using multiple digital platforms
  • Confidence in organising others, and managing up, down and side to side!
  • A collaborative spirit — you play well with others.
  • Organisation skills sharper than a freshly polished steak knife.
  • Agile and adaptable- we are growing and we move quickly as a business - so you will be happy working at pace and will come with us on our journey as a growing hospitality business.
  • You are naturally discreet and completely trustworthy, write beautifully and communicate brilliantly.
  • You can juggle ten things without dropping the important one.
  • You have a brilliant sense of humour (essential) and you don't panic when plans change—because they inevitably will!
  • You'll probably already have experience supporting senior leaders, but more important than your CV is your attitude.

We're looking for someone intelligent, proactive, adaptable and genuinely lovely to work with. Someone who enjoys making other people's lives easier and gets real satisfaction from a perfectly organised day.

What You’ll Get from Us

Working with The Signet Collection  means joining a group that genuinely cares about people — not just their output, but their whole wellbeing, growth, and joy at work.

Plus you'll get:

  • An excellent starting salary.
  • Discounted rates across our restaurants and hotels for you, family and friends to enjoy.
  • Stream - access up to 40% of your pay before pay date, and save directly from your salary.
  • Your Wellbeing Hub - powered by Hospitality Action, from a 24/7 employee assistance programme, to gym classes, to nutritious recipes, to clinical counselling, we want you to feel cared for at each step.
  • 20 days’ holiday  (plus Bank Holidays)  + your birthday off
  • Team recognition programme to celebrate your achievements.
  • Referral bonus scheme for recommending top talent - earn up to £1000.
  • Long Service Awards - dinners for two with all the trimmings, complimentary room stays with breakfast and dinner, theatre tickets to see The Lion King, and so much more.

Think you're the one?

If you're the sort of person who instinctively straightens picture frames, spots diary clashes before they happen, enjoys bringing order to busy days and loves making things happen behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

Come and help us keep the magic running.
